Privacy policy
Effective 25 October 2026.
Drive backup is a private tool used only by its owner, with the owner's own Google account.
- What it accesses: through the Google Drive
drive.file permission, only the files and folders it created itself. It cannot see any other file in the Drive.
- What it does with them: uploads the owner's server data files and downloads them again when the owner asks.
- Sharing: no data is shared with, sold to or shown to anyone. Nothing is sent anywhere except the owner's own Google Drive.
- Storage: the files stay in the owner's Google Drive until the owner deletes them. The sign-in token is kept only on the owner's own machines.
- Removing access: the owner can revoke it at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
